Dünya aslında kapalı bir kutudur. Özel bir çaba harcamadan bu kutudan dışarı hiçbir şey çıkamaz. Buna ses ve görüntü de dâhil. Zaten, sesi iletecek hava medyumu olmadan, bir sesten bahsetmek de mümkün değil. Görüntü ise ancak ışık medyumu ile var olabilmekte. İnsanoğlu her iki oluşumu (ses ve görüntü) kayıt altına almaya başardı. İçinde bulunduğumuz çağın teknolojisi bunu olanaklı hale getirdi. Fakat bunun için bir hazırlığa, kayıt ortamına ve kayıt cihazına ihtiyaç duyuluyor. Mevcut teknolojimiz ancak buna yetebiliyor. Fakat dünyada hatta evrende sesin ve görüntünün kaybolmadığını biliyoruz. Daha doğrusu evrende hiçbir şey kaybolmuyor. Ses, belki çarptığı yerlerde kayıt altına alınıyor, görüntüler de aynı şekilde. Fakat mevcut teknoloji bu kaydı okumaya yetmiyor.

Sanatçı bu çalışmasında, okunamayan ve çözülememiş bu kayıtlar üzerine gidiyor. Yıllar öncesinin taşlara hapsolmuş görüntü ve seslerinin tekrar okunabilirliği üzerine bir imge çalışması yapıyor.

The world is actually a closed box. Nothing can get out of this box without special effort. This includes sound and vision. Besides, it is not possible to talk about a sound without the air medium to convey the sound. The image can only exist with a light medium. Mankind has succeeded in recording both formations (sound and vision). The technology of our age has made this possible. However, this requires a preparation, recording medium and recording device. Our current technology can only suffice. However, we know that sound and vision are not lost in the world, even in the universe. More precisely, nothing is lost in the universe. Sound may be recorded where it strikes, and the images are the same. But current technology is not enough to read this record.

 

In this work, the artist deals with these unreadable and unresolved records. He is doing an image study on the readability of the images and sounds that were trapped in stones from years ago.
